İzocam employees and dealers came together at the 100th Anniversary of the Republic Reception held in Ankara. At the reception held with the motto of "Our Way is the Republic", Mr. Sunay Akın took part as a speaker and the first screening of İzocam's commercial entitled "The Republic Apartment Building" was held.
İzocam employees and dealers visited Anıtkabir (Atatürk's Mausoleum) within the scope of the event, where a moment of silence was observed in the spiritual presence of Atatürk, and a wreath-laying ceremony was held. İzocam General Director Mr. Murat Savcı made a speech after the ceremony, and signed the Anıtkabir Special Book.
İzocam employees and dealers came together at the 100th Anniversary of the Republic Reception held in Ankara with the motto of "Our Way is The Republic". The reception, which took place at JW Marriott Ankara on October 7th-8th with the participation of approximately 300 guests, was the scene of unforgettable moments and enthusiastic celebrations.
At the reception, the contributions of İzocam, the first insulation manufacturer of the 100-year-old Republic of Turkey, to our country's economy and nature with its environmentally-friendly and sustainable insulation solutions for 58
years were introduced. In addition, İzocam's history, achievements, investment activities, social responsibility projects and goals were also shared with the guests.
Making the opening speech of the reception, İzocam General Director Mr. Murat Savcı said: "We are extremely proud and happy to come together in Ankara and realize this enthusiastic celebration on the 100th anniversary of our Republic. İzocam, the first company established in Turkey solely to produce insulation products, has the well-established İzocam brand that has existed for 58 years in the 100-year history of our Republic. Our journey, which started with our first glass wool facility in 1965, continues today with the production we carry out in 4 different facilities. Currently, we are the only company in the insulation industry in our country and in the world that can produce 7 different products under the same roof. As the pioneer of the insulation industry in our country and in the export markets in which we operate, we have exported more than 15 million cubic meters of products in the last 15 years. In addition to the contributions we provide to our country's economy, we also support sustainability with our environmentally-friendly and healthy insulation solutions. We have prevented the release of 780 million tons of CO₂ into the atmosphere with the insulation products we have produced since the day we were founded. Pursuant to our goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2050, we have started to implement many projects that will reduce greenhouse gas emissions, limit water consumption and wastewater generation, adapt alternative raw material sources to production processes and contribute to the circular economy."
The Reception, with its Rich Concept, was the Scene of the Enthusiasm for the Republic
İzocam's 100th Anniversary of the Republic Reception, with its rich concept thought out in detail, was the scene of the enthusiasm for the Republic. İzocam prepared an 18-meter long tunnel in the foyer area to create ambiance in line with the Reception motto of "Our Way is the Republic". The double-sided tunnel featured images reflecting the difficult ways walked by soldiers from the period of Turkish War of Independence and the message that reads "If they had not walked those difficult ways, we would not be here today." İzocam, which gave the floor of the tunnel the appearance of being made of old stone and placed the door of the old Turkish Grand National Assembly at the end of the tunnel, prompted the attendees of the reception to walk through the door and enter the meeting hall. İzocam covered the tunnel floor with a red carpet during the cocktail and ball, and many scientists, artists and athletes who have achieved firsts and successes in Turkey in the last 100 years were featured on the tunnel's screens.
İzocam's 100th Anniversary of the Republic Reception witnessed entertaining, informative and enthusiastic moments with the participation of famous names. Poet, writer and museum curator Mr. Sunay Akın, who made a speech at the reception, shared the story of "The Lion Road" with the guests with his impressive narration. In his speech, Mr. Akın also touched upon the situation in Turkey before the proclamation of the Republic, the anecdotes that Atatürk experienced during this period, the traditions passed down from the ancient civilizations that lived in Anatolia, the value that should be given to women and science, and the admiration and respect shown to Atatürk by the whole world.
İzocam crowned this special day with the songs of the valuable artist Mr. Erol Evgin, saying "Our way is the Republic for a century". In the concert given by Mr. Evgin specifically for the guests, Atatürk's favorite songs were sung in unison. At the reception, guests witnessed colorful and enthusiastic moments with performances featuring zeibek and waltz dances.
The first screening of İzocam's highly acclaimed "The Republic Apartment Building" commercial, which enthusiastically celebrates the pride of being under the roof of our Republic for 100 years, was also held at the 100th Anniversary of the Republic Reception. Set in the Republic Apartment Building, the film highlights the valuable history of our Republic and brings together the past and the future. In the commercial, it is stated that the values of the Republic, which has survived with an unshakable bond for a century, are supported, and the enthusiasm for Republic Day is shared with the message "Our way is the Republic".
At the Turnover Awards Ceremony held within the scope of İzocam's 100th Anniversary of the Republic Reception, İzocam's most successful dealers in exports and in Turkey were announced. Within the scope of İzocam 2022 Domestic Market Turnover Awards, İzocam Dealers named "Karalar Yalıtım", operating in the Province of Kocaeli, "Himerpa", operating in the Province of Istanbul, and "Maraton", operating in the Province of Bursa, received the first, second and third prizes, respectively.
