Clarification Text on the Protection and Processing of Personal Data
A) General information
It was aimed with this “Information” text, which was drafted by İzocam Ticaret ve Sanayi A.Ş. (www.izocam.com.tr) (“İzocam” or “Company”) within the capacity of Data Controller pursuant to Article 10 entitled “Informing Obligation of the Data Controller” and Article 11 entitled “Rights of the Data Subject” of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“PDPL”), to inform you about the purpose for which your personal data will be processed, to whom and for what purpose your processed personal data can be transferred, the method and legal grounds for the collection of your personal data, and your other rights listed in Article 11 of the PDPL.

C) Purposes of Processing Your Personal Data
Your personal data will be collected and processed by our company, which operates in the fields specified in detail in the “Articles of Association of İzocam Ticaret ve Sanayi A.Ş.”, particularly in establishing and operating electronic commerce portals and trading all kinds of goods and services through these portals, pursuant to both Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce and Law No. 6502 on the Protection of the Consumer, the secondary legislation related thereto, regulations and the contracts we have concluded. Your personal data may be used to provide services related to our Company's fields of activity and to increase the quality of these services, to carry out sales, marketing and other activities of our Company, to comply with information storage, reporting and disclosure obligations regarding suppliers and third-party service providers. In addition, your personal data may also be used within the scope of studies such as Customer Relationship Management practices to be carried out for sales and marketing activities, as well as increasing the quality of service we provide to you.
D) Detailed Information on Personal Data
Personal information transmitted electronically by website users and the “Membership Agreement” made with members may be used in the cases specified in the laws and within the specified purposes and scopes. This collected information may be used for campaign activities and special promotional activities created based on your profile.
The website keeps the internet protocol (IP) log records of the users within the periods specified in the laws, when necessary, in order to identify the problems that may occur within the website and to immediately solve the technical problems and/or other problems that may arise. Certain personal information of users (such as first name-last name, address, company information, phone number, e-mail address, etc.) will be recorded in the databases of the website through various forms and surveys available within the website filled out by the users.
Users may be informed via electronic communication means about new products and discounts for advertising and/or marketing purposes, within the scope and purposes determined by the Membership Agreement, provided that they give their consent.
The user information provided by the user to become a member of the website will be used to communicate with that customer. In addition, this information may be used to inform you of new products for advertising and marketing purposes.
In order to provide fast and effective results, websites use “cookies” for the purpose of “session identification” to recognize its customers as they browse through the pages on websites and to eliminate the need for customers to re-register when moving from one webpage to another, and to enable you to access the information you provide during registration. Cookies will be kept in the interface momentarily and will not be stored after you leave our web pages. No data, whether about you or the devices you use, will be retained or saved in any way. You may not accept “cookies” by changing your cookies settings. However, in the event that you do not accept the cookies, you may not be able to use all the interactive features on the website.
Your personal data will not be used for purposes other than those specified in this clarification text without your express consent, and will not be shared with or transferred to third parties, with the exception of sharing with and transferring to official institutions/organizations in cases where required by legal obligations.
Our company will share your personal data in question only with the parties to the membership agreement. Apart from these parties, any and all of your personal data that may be requested may be shared based on the express consent of the customers or in other cases stipulated in article 5/f.2 of the PDPL, particularly the legislation we are subject to, with our company's partners and İzocam Ticaret ve Sanayi A.Ş. in the future and/or our subsidiaries in Türkiye or abroad, which will be included in the group Companies, and our direct or indirect affiliates and joint ventures, or public institutions or organizations that are authorized to request such data as required by a legal obligation and, provided that adequate precautions are taken, with our contracted institutions, suppliers, authorized dealers/dealers/business partners due to our activities, in order to provide value-added services, opportunities and possibilities to our customers and to increase service quality.
E) Method of Personal Data Collection
Your personal data may be collected verbally, in writing or electronically in accordance with the applicable legislation through channels such as our Company, Partners, affiliates, dealers, suppliers, and solution partners with whom we cooperate or have a contractual relationship.
F) Retaining Your Personal Data Accurately and Up-to-Date
Those who share their personal data with our company have accepted and declared that they are aware that the accuracy of this information and retaining it up-to-date is important both in terms of their rights over their personal data per the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 and other relevant legislation, and that the responsibilities arising from providing false information will be entirely their own.

Your personal data processed for the purposes specified in this clarification text will be deleted, destroyed or anonymized and continued to be used as such by us when the purpose that requires processing per Article 7/f.1 of the PDPL ceases and the periods determined by the Laws expire.
I) Measures Regarding the Protection of Personal Data
Protection of personal data is an important issue for our company. Our company takes the necessary measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration or destruction. Our company undertakes to keep your personal data confidential, to take all necessary technical and administrative measures and show due diligence to ensure its confidentiality and security.
Although our company has taken the necessary information security measures, in the event that personal data is damaged or falls into the hands of third parties as a result of attacks on the website and the system, İzocam Ticaret ve Sanayi A.Ş (www.İzocam.com.tr) immediately notifies you and the Personal Data Protection Board of this situation and takes the necessary precautions.
J) Other Rights Enumerated in Article 11 of the PDPL
By applying to our company, you have the right to:
a) learn whether your personal data is processed,
b) request information about its processing, if processed,
c) learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether it is used in accordance with this purpose,
ç) learn about the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred at home/abroad,
d) request correction of your personal data if it is incompletely/incorrectly processed,
e) request the deletion/destruction of your personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the PDPL,
f) request the notification of the procedures carried out pursuant to subparagraphs (ç) and (d) to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
g) object to any result against you that has arisen as a result of processing of your personal data exclusively by automated systems, and
ğ) demand the compensation of the damages in case you suffer damages due to the unlawful processing of your personal data.
K) In The Event That You Would Like to Contact Us for Your Rights and Demands:
You can send your requests within the scope of your legal rights stipulated in the relevant law and other legislation via a petition in person at our Altayçeşme Mahallesi Çamlı Sok. Pasco Plaza No:21 Kat: 4-5 Maltepe - İstanbul address or via a notary public.
The following information must be included in your application/petition:
· the address of the place of residence or workplace, where the relevant notification will be sent,
· if available, the e-mail address, telephone and fax number where the relevant notification will be sent, and
In addition to the above, as the data owner, you must also attach the information and documents related to your request to your application/petition.
Applications to be made within the aforementioned scope will be accepted following the identity verification process to be conducted by our side, and your requests will be finalized as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. In the event that a written response is given, no fee will be charged for up to 10 pages, whereas a processing fee of 1 Turkish Lira may be charged for each page over 10 pages. If the response to the application is given in a recording medium such as CD or flash memory, a fee may be charged in the amount of the cost of the recording medium.
Confidentiality Policy
As www.İzocam.com.tr, the confidentiality of your personal information you have provided while registering on our website is more important to us than anything else.
In this context, your e-mail address will not be disclosed to any party and used by such party for any reason. Your information will only be used by İzocam.com.tr in order to send promotional and campaign news about İzocam.com.tr in certain periods.
Membership information and personal information you have provided to us will not be shared with other members without your consent. This information can only be used to determine a customer profile.
Membership information and personal information may only be changed by the member him/herself. It is not possible for İzocam.com.tr or any other member to access or change member information.
However, İzocam.com.tr will not be liable f confidential information is damaged or falls into the hands of third parties as a result of attacks on İzocam.com.tr and the system despite the necessary information security measures have been taken.
In addition, personal information of users and members will not be disclosed to real and legal third parties, except when requested by the authorities authorized by law and in cases listed below. Personal information may be disclosed to third parties acting for or on behalf of İzocam.com.tr or those related to İzocam.com.tr's business in order to better process the data per original purpose of data processing or to provide better service in accordance with the purposes suggested by users and members. Information obtained from users who responded to periodic surveys organized by İzocam.com.tr at the website and the personal information of the users may be used by İzocam.com.tr or the organizations it cooperates with, for the purposes of direct advertising, promotional marketing, conducting statistical analyses or creating a database and similar purposes.
