On 03.02.2020, Murat Savcı was appointed Managing Director at İzocam, which has been operating in the Turkish insulation industry since 1965 and has been in a partnership with the French Saint-Gobain Group and Kuwait Alghanim Group since 2006.
Born in 1967 in Adana, Murat Savcı graduated from Tarsus American College in 1985 and from the Department of Civil Engineering at Istanbul Technical University in 1990. Murat Savcı got their master’s degree at Dortmund Technical University, Germany in construction economics and construction law in 1991-1994, while also working as an assistant in the field of construction physics at the University.
Having taken their first steps into their career in 1994 in Germany, Murat Savcı fulfilled the role of Project Manager at various German companies and construction groups in 1994-2005. Mr Savcı returned to Turkey in 2005 and acted in the capacity of General Manager in 2005-2007 at the construction company they founded. In 2007-2012 they fulfilled the role of General Manager for Turkey at an Australia-based company Baumit.
Working in the capacity of Chairman of the Board of Directors at Koramic Yapı Kimyasalları A.Ş. in 2012-2019, Mr Savcı also fulfilled the roles of Member of the Board of Directors and Vice President of Group Companies at the Belgium-based industry group Koramic NV in the same period of time.
Having served as a Board Member at İZODER in 2009-2017, Murat Savcı is married with one child. He is fluent in English and German.
