Sailing the seas with the motto “İzocam stands behind sustainable tomorrows", İzocam Sailing Team completed the trophies and races it participated in throughout 2023 with sustainable success. The successful team, which brought home 3 trophies, will continue to sail the seas with the mission of leading a “good life” and "sustainable tomorrows" in 2024.
İzocam Sailing Team, which set sail to draw attention to global climate change, the importance of sustainability and the right to a good life, made a name for itself with its successes by taking home 3 trophies and races in the trophies and races it participated in this year.
MIYC (Marmaris International Yacht Club) Winter Trophy, held for the 14th time this year in Marmaris district of Muğla, started on January 21st. The last of the 6 legs of the trophy, each lasting two days, took place on May 6th and 7th, 2023. İzocam Sailing Team completed the MIYC WINTER TROPHY races in 4th place among 16 boats in total.
EAYK (Aegean Offshore Yacht Club) Winter Trophy, which started on January 28th, hosted by Çeşme Marina, was organized in 6 legs. İzocam Sailing Team, which was among the winners of the EAYK Winter Trophy, the last leg of which was held on May 20th and 21st, 2023, finished the races in the 3rd place overall.
The successful team, which participated in the BOSPHORUS CUP Istanbul Races on September 21st, 22nd, 23rd and 24th after the MIYC and EAYK Winter Trophies, finished HDI Burhanettin Tekdağ Year-End Trophy Sailing Yacht Races held in Marmaris district of Muğla on December 9th and 10th, by taking home the 3rd place trophy.
The İzocam Sailing Team, which sails with the motto “Izocam stands behind sustainable tomorrows”, consists of professional racers as well as İzocam employees who have received basic sailing training from the Sailmaster team. İzocam, the leader of the insulation industry with its approach to energy saving, environmentally-friendly production, products integrated with nature, and healthy individuals, will continue to sail the seas with the mission of leading a “good life” and “sustainable tomorrows” in 2024.
