İzocam Sailing Team sets sail with the motto of “Izocam is behind sustainable futures”. The successful team, which completed the Marmaris International Yacht Club (MIYC) Winter Trophy in the 4th and the Aegean Offshore Yacht Club (EAYK) Winter Trophy in the 3rd place this year, is counting the days for the Bosphorus Cup Istanbul Races to be held in September.
İzocam Sailing Team, which sailed to the seas to draw attention to global climate change, the importance of sustainability and the right to a good life, made a name for itself with its success in the winter trophies it participated in this year. The successful team that carried home the awards in MIYC and EAYK Winter Trophy races is counting the days for the Bosphorus Cup Istanbul Races to be held in September.
MIYC Winter Trophy, which started on January 21st in Marmaris, Muğla, was held for the 14th time this year. The last leg of the trophy, which consists of two-day long six legs, took place on May 6th and 7th, 2023. Out of a total of 16 teams, İzocam Sailing Team finished the MIYC Winter Trophy races in the 4th place.
The EAYK Winter Trophy, which started on January 28th in Çeşme Marina, was organized also in 6 legs. The last leg of the EAYK Winter Trophy, in which İzocam Sailing Team was among the winners, was held on May 20th and 21st, 2023. İzocam Sailing Team finished the races in the 3rd place overall.
İzocam, the leader of the insulation sector with its energy saving, environmentally friendly production, products that integrate with nature, and healthy individuals, will continue to sail the seas with its mission to lead a “good life” and “sustainable tomorrows”. İzocam Sailing Team, which carried home the awards in MIYC and EAYK Winter Trophy races, will also participate in the Bosphorus Cup Istanbul Races to be held on September 21st, 22nd, 23rd and 24th.
İzocam Sailing Team, which sets sail with the motto “Izocam is behind sustainable tomorrows”, consists of professional racers as well as İzocam employees who have received basic sailing training from the Sailmaster team. İzocam Sailing Team will take part in a total of 3 trophies and 20 races, including MIYC Marmaris Winter Trophy, EAYK Winter Trophy and Bosphorous Cup Istanbul Race, throughout 2023.
