Completing the first 6 months of 2020 with “0” occupational accidents in all of its facilities, Izocam have also evaluated Environment, Occupational Health and Safety (EHS) performance of its facilities for 365 days. In Izocam, where the lack of occupational accidents in a facility is celebrated each month, it is underlined that there is one target to be achieved regarding EHS: zero occupational accidents, zero environmental accidents, and minimum environmental impact, and zero occupational illnesses... For this target, Izocam employees in each location continues to contribute for EHS with devotion.
Implementing OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System in all of its facilities and continuing the installation work on ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System, Izocam employees take care to apply Izocam Environment, Occupational Health and Safety principles fully to spread their success of facility without occupational accidents in the first 6 months of the year to the whole year.
Firstly, Eskisehir Facility have celebrated its 2nd year without occupational accidents in May and after this celebration, they handed the flag in July to Tarsus Facility which have not had an occupational accident for the last 1 year. After the lack of occupational accidents celebration of Tarsus Facility in July 17th, Stone Wool Facility in Dilovası have celebrated their 365 days without occupational accidents in August.
This success in Stone Wool Facility have been celebrated with an open air organisation with the participation of the employees of this factory in which all the measures regarding the pandemics were taken. The processes which led to this success have been shortly evaluated and reminded during this celebration. The event which was held on Monday, 24.08.2020 was joined by Izocam Managing Director Murat Savcı, Investments and Production Director Jean-Phlillipe Destang, Human Resources Director Gozdehan Caycı and Sales Director M. Rustu Uz in addition to factory director, managers, and employees.
The studies to maintain our occupational health and safety performance in the future periods have been assessed with this event in Stone Wool Facility, and close communication and contact of our Upper Management Team with facility employees on field have been realised.
