For example, in a summer house located in Datca, insulation must be made at least 6 cm on the walls and at least 10 cm on the roofs within the framework of current local regulations. These thicknesses also apply to other districts such as Fethiye, Datca, Marmaris and Gokova which are the apple of summer’s eye. In order to achieve more energy saving and better indoor conditions, the thick insulation made according to the seasonal conditions must be applied in accordance with the regulations and even above the thickness determined by these regulations. With this thick insulation applied, full protection can be provided and summer houses offering more comfortable, healthier and better living conditions can be possessed.”
