Organized by Izocam with its social responsibility awareness and providing huge opportunities for university students, results of 16th Izocam Student Competition have finally been announced. 280 students across 68 universities submitted their projects to the competition held under the general theme of ´One Scenario One Project´ and 9 out of 41 scenarios saw the finals. As a result of the jury evaluation, the project by Gencay Çubuk from Istanbul Technical University won the first prize while Ferhat Bulduk from Yıldız Technical University and Ayça Yazıcı from Istanbul Technical University shared the second place and Onur Karadeniz from Istanbul Technical University became the third.
Top three projects selected by the jury are entitled to join the international competition to be held in Minsk, capital city of Belarus.
Results of the 16th Izocam Student Competition were revealed. 9 projects out of 41 teams which developed “Socially and climatologically sustainable and reproducible settlement” scenario to join the competition for Brest, were competed in an open jury session and the winners were announced. Gencay Çubuk from Istanbul Technical University Architectural Design department was selected the number one project by the jury while Ferhat Bulduk from Yıldız Technical University Building Research and Planning department and Ayça Yazıcı from Istanbul Technical University Architectural Design department shared the second place and Onur Karadeniz from from Istanbul Technical University Architecture department became the third best project.

The competition held under the general theme of ‘One Scenario One Project’ was open to students from all faculties and departments. Submitted by 280 students from 68 universities, the competition was held in two phases. In the first stage, students developed a scenario including a sustainable urban living. As a result of jury evaluation, 11 out of 41 submitted projects were entitled to further develop their projects. In the open jury session held on 23 April 2016, each project owner had 10 minutes to present their project to the jury and improve themselves by the feedbacks. All finalists received a Certificate of Achievement and a book set while top 3 projects won 8.000 TL, 6.000 TL and 4.000 TL respectively. The top 3 projects also have the opportunity to join the international competition to be held between May 25th -28th in Minsk, the capital of Belarus.
