Providing its dealers and customers with the opportunity to see the world´s most beautiful countries every year, Izocam presented a trip to Cuba to its most successful dealers. Operating both in Turkey and abroad, accomplished Izocam dealers visited historical and touristic sites of Havana, Santa Clara, Varadero and Trinidad.
As an annual tradition, providing its successful dealers with the opportunity to see the world’s historical and touristic centres and natural beauties, Izocam organized a visit to Cuba between 25 May and 2 June.
Izocam dealers operating in Turkey and abroad were ranked according to the sales figures in parallel with 2014 targets and attended to a 9-day trip to Cuba. Visiting Havana, Varadero and Trinidad, the dealers enjoyed the trip very much.
Izocam dealers first visited Varadero and participated in a catamaran tour. They arrived Cayo Blanco Island of the Caribbean where they swam with the dolphins and enjoyed the sea and the sun on magnificent beaches of the island.
Second stop of the dealers was Santa Clara – the city which made Che a legend. The dealers visited Santa Clara which is the city witnessed the last battle of the Cuban Revolution; they also saw the historical Armoured Train Museum Park and Parque Vidal as well as witnesses the history wandering around the streets in which the war took place. The dealers also visited Che Guevera’s mausoleum, the monument on which ‘El Che’s famous letter is written in cuneiform and his statue.
Having the opportunity to take a closer look to Trinidad which is ranked in the UNESCO World´s Cultural Heritage List, Izocam dealers strolled around on the stone streets. The dealers witnessed the history by visiting the city which got richer thanks to the sugar production in 18th and 19th centuries and they saw the most well-preserved examples of the Colonial period architecture which Cubans feel proud of.
Izocam dealers visited the Old Town in Havana which is listed in the UNESCO World´s Cultural Heritage List as well as Malecon and its unique seacoast, the Revolution Square, the Cathedral Square, Armas Square, the Morro Castle, famous Obispo Street, the Cigar factory and the the Rom museum.
The last stop of the trip was Vinales in which the dealers took part of nicotine fields tour as well as Pinar Del Rio and Vinales valley tours. They enjoyed the great view of Vinales valley over Los Jazmines observation terrace and took a boat tour in the underground river, in Cueva del Indio cave, house of scalactites and stalagmites. In the splendid atmosphere of the cave, the dealers had the opportunity to a mural drawing made by Leovigildo Gonzeles on a rock.
